The Department of Defense, through the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA Aviation), is seeking proposals for the procurement of 4,318 units of Bolt, Shear, identified by NSN 5306-01-179-0901, under Purchase Request 7011936428. This solicitation is a total small business set-aside and requires that interested manufacturers submit a complete source approval package (SAR) if they are not among the approved sources listed, which include SPS Technologies, Acufast Aircraft Products, Sonic Industries, Space-Lok, and Valley-Todeco. The DLA Aviation is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for Bolt, Shear; NSN 5306-01-179-0901. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 339991.
