The Department of Defense, through the Naval Sea Systems Command, intends to award a contract for the production and technical engineering support of the MK-59 Floating Decoy System for fiscal years 2025 to 2029. This procurement includes the supply of Decoy Launching Systems, End Caps, engineering support, and associated travel and direct costs, with the contract expected to be awarded on a sole source basis to IrvinGQ Limited, located in the United Kingdom. The MK-59 Decoy System plays a critical role in enhancing naval defense capabilities by providing electronic countermeasures.
