Description

Sources Sought DEPT OF DEFENSE DEPT OF THE ARMY is conducting market research to identify potential sources capable of manufacturing and delivering the 155mm Artillery M795 Metal Parts Assembly. The M795 Metal Parts are made from high fragmentation steel alloy and have a finished weight of approximately 75 lbs. They are approximately 30 inches long with a curved exterior and utilize a welded rotating band. The government requires a minimum monthly production of 10,000 M795 Metal Parts by May 2025. Interested sources must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and provide information on their capabilities, past manufacturing experience, projected monthly delivery capability, facilities and equipment, quality assurance, and more. The Technical Data Package (TDP) for the M795 Metal Parts is available upon request and receipt of required documents.

The production quantity for FY25 is estimated to be 7,000 - 9,000 each, with a maximum yearly quantity of 15,000 BDU-50 D/B. The contract will also include First Article Test requirements.
