The Department of Defense, through the Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM), is conducting market research for a replacement of the Six-Containers (SIXCON) Pump Module, aimed at enhancing the existing fuel support system used by the Fleet Marine Forces. The new pump module is expected to optimize functionality, reduce the system's footprint, and ensure user-friendliness, with key performance parameters including a minimum bulk fuel transfer rate of 50 GPM and compatibility with military aviation fuels. The legacy SIXCON system, which consists of five tank modules and one pump module, plays a critical role in refueling operations, providing essential capabilities such as fuel filtration and water removal to meet military specifications. Interested offerors must demonstrate compliance with the performance attributes by January 31, 2025, as the Marine Corps estimates a procurement of 627 units under a 5-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract.
