The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) seeks experienced court reporting agencies or professionals to provide impartial and accurate real-time reporting services for its Office of General Counsel. Court reporters will be required to cover legal proceedings across three major locations, namely Aviation, Land & Maritime, and Distribution. The primary goal is to obtain a verbatim record of these proceedings, ensuring immediacy through real-time reporting and accuracy through certified professionals. The equipment used should be portable and adaptable to different locations. The scope of work involves capturing and transcribing approximately 300 hours of court proceedings and producing 5,000 transcript pages per year for each location. Reporters will be engaged on an as-needed basis, with work conducted either in person or virtually. In addition to the transcription services, the successful vendor will also be responsible for acknowledging and responding to the various amendments issued during the solicitation period. To be eligible, court reporting agencies must hold relevant certifications, and their reporters must be certified by the National Court Reporters Association. As this is a Small Business Set-Aside, priority will be given to small businesses that possess the capacity and expertise to fulfill the role. Funding for this procurement is estimated at around $750,000 for the base year. The contract will be firm-fixed-price, with the possibility of four one-year extensions.
