The Department of Defense, specifically the Department of the Army, is seeking proposals for the FY 25 Wax Plant Electrical Upgrades at Yuma Proving Ground, Arizona. This design-build construction project aims to complete the design drawings and install three Wax Mixing, Melting, and Pouring Systems (WMMPS) along with two conditioning chambers, which are critical for supporting the wax loading of projectile and mortar bodies for the Yuma Test Center's mission. The project is a total small business set-aside with an estimated construction cost between $1 million and $5 million, and it is expected to take approximately 540 calendar days to complete. Interested contractors must submit their proposals by August 11, 2025, and can contact Otse Adikhai at otse.a.adikhai@usace.army.mil or Christina Chavez at Christina.Chavez@usace.army.mil for further information.
