N00164-23-Q-0076 – SOLE SOURCE – FDS TT&E UPGRADES - FSC K016 – NAICS 334118 ISSUE DATE 19 JAN 2023 – CLOSING DATE 25 JAN 2023 – 12:00 AM Eastern Time ITEM DESCRIPTION- Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane has a requirement for upgrades of FDS displays, testing/evaluation and repairs of FDS displays The proposed contract action is for the supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, ArgonFDS LLC, 6435 Shiloh Rd, Alpharetta, GA 30005-8412, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1. This is being sole sourced because both the displays being upgraded from and the new model are both produced by ArgonFDS, and as such they have the required knowledge, skills, technical rights and equipment to do the work necessary. Thus they represent the most cost and time-efficient option for securing the necessary components. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency. However, a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).
