The Department of Commerce's National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) intends to award a sole source contract for non-personal services related to the calibration, repair, maintenance, and purchase of Sea-Bird Electronic (SBE) instruments. The procurement involves acquiring 65 new SBE56 temperature sensors and repairing and calibrating 41 existing sensors, which are critical for the Pacific Islands Fisheries Science Center's (PIFSC) National Coral Reef Monitoring Program. This initiative is vital for ensuring accurate environmental monitoring and data collection, particularly in assessing climate change impacts on marine ecosystems, as only SBE sensors are compatible with the existing equipment. Interested parties may contact Stephanie Fisher at stephanie.fisher@noaa.gov or call 808-725-5633, with the total estimated contract value being under $250,000 and a delivery deadline set for January 31, 2025.
