    Description

    Sources Sought DEPT OF DEFENSE is seeking repair services for the ICT-1500/2500 detection, control, and motion systems at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. The ICT-1500/2500 is a sophisticated Computed Tomography (CT) inspection system used to internally inspect solid rocket motors for anomalies in a non-destructive manner. These systems are vital to the inspection and sustainment of the Minuteman III (MMIII) Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) weapon system. The contractor will be responsible for replacing all related parts and hardware of the ICT-2500 system, including components such as Linear Diode Array, Scintillator Assembly, Reference Detector, Printed Circuit Boards (PCB's), Motors and Controls, Motion Controls, External Encoders, Operational Software, and Operation/Diagnostic Workstations. The project will be worked as a 2-year phased project, with the upgrade to ICT-2500 scheduled for FY24 and the upgrade to ICT-1500 scheduled for FY25. The final project phase will involve the x-ray source upgrade.
