A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) Belvoir Division in support of Product Manager Force Protection Systems (PM - FPS)/Automated Installation Entry (AIE), intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract on a sole source basis with HID Global Corporation under the authority implemented by FAR by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(A). The requirement is for the renewal of software subscriptions for the Hughes Identification Devices (HID) Global National Law Enforcement Telecommunications Systems (NLETS) and National Counterterrorism Innovation, Technology, and Education Center (NCITE)® Visitor Management Systems Kiosks.
