The U.S. Navy is seeking quotes for the repair and quality assurance of Exciter Assys, as outlined in the solicitation notice.
The scope of work involves repairing the Exciter Assys in accordance with the contractor's own standard practices, manuals, and directives, as well as meeting the operational and functional requirements outlined by the Navy. The work must be performed with strict adherence to the applicable documents, which include MIL-STD-129 and the original manufacturer's specifications and drawings. The contractor is responsible for all inspection requirements and ensuring compliance with the outlined standards. Records of inspection work must be kept accessible for a period of 365 days after delivery.
To be eligible, applicants must be able to meet the requested Repair Turn Around Time (RTAT) of 194 days and have the capacity to perform the work. A firm-fixed price is expected for the repair effort. If the applicant is not the Original End Manufacturer (OEM), they must provide the OEM's details and be prepared to supply traceability documentation if requested.
Funding for this project is estimated at $24,057.64. The contract will be bilaterally issued and accepted by both parties before execution. All contractual documents will be considered issued when copies are sent via mail, facsimile, or electronic methods.
