The Department of Defense, through the Department of the Air Force, is initiating a competitive procurement for SMDC lines intended for the USAF and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) F-15 Program. This acquisition involves specific ballistic devices, primarily ejection system components made of stainless steel with explosive charges, supplied by two identified manufacturers: Pacific Scientific Energetic Materials Company and Rockwell Collins. These components are critical for aircraft ejection systems, ensuring operational readiness and life support for military aircraft.
