The Department of Defense, specifically the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Baltimore District, intends to award a sole-source contract for the repair and calibration of two non-operational in-situ Object Counting System (ISOCS) detectors to Mirion Technologies (Canberra), Inc. The contract will involve servicing one electrically cooled ISOCS detector (AEGIS model) and one liquid nitrogen-cooled ISOCS detector (GC6020 model), ensuring they are fully restored to operational status through diagnostic testing, necessary repairs, and final calibration. These detectors are critical for near real-time gamma spectroscopy data analysis in the field, and Mirion Technologies is the only source with the proprietary expertise and components required for this task. Interested parties may submit capability statements by the specified deadline to be considered, with all inquiries directed to Evan Cyran at evan.m.cyran@usace.army.mil or Jeffrey May at jeffrey.b.may@usace.army.mil.
