The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is seeking information from vendors regarding Modular Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) Measurement Equipment to assess corrosion processes in materials critical to U.S. infrastructure, particularly at the steel-concrete interface. The equipment must meet specific technical requirements, including a maximum polarization voltage of -8 to +8 V, a current range of -1 A to +1 A, and an EIS sampling rate of at least 100 kS/s, along with compatibility for software and data export standards. This initiative aims to foster innovation in corrosion measurement technology, and interested vendors are invited to submit their capabilities by February 10, 2025. For inquiries, potential respondents can contact Robert Cowins at robert.cowins@nist.gov or Hing Pan Wong at hingpan.wong@nist.gov.
