The VA seeks a comprehensive imaging solution that ensures secure image acquisition, retrieval, and communication, while also supporting advanced features such as AI functionality, voice recognition, and integration with electronic health records (EHR). This initiative is crucial for managing over 5 million annual exams across multiple VISNs and migrating approximately 20 petabytes of existing images, with a focus on achieving 99.99% uptime in a FedRAMP certified environment.
