The U.S. Census Bureau (USCB) is seeking information from vendors to enhance its Address Listing Field through a Request for Information (RFI) focused on acquiring address data in hard-to-reach areas. The objective is to strengthen the Master Address File (MAF) and the Topologically Integrated Geographic Encoding and Referencing (TIGER) System by obtaining address and location data for Living Quarters, including Housing Units, Group Quarters, and Transitory Locations, particularly in remote regions such as Alaska, Maine, the American Southwest, and Puerto Rico. Interested vendors are required to provide address points with x,y coordinates, location descriptions, file-level metadata, and a data quality report, with submissions due by 12:00 PM EST on February 5, 2026. For further inquiries, vendors may contact Paul W. Boesch at paul.w.boesch@census.gov or Jim Brooks at james.n.brooks.jr@census.gov.
