The U.S. Army is seeking innovative commercial items, technologies, or services through a competitive procedure called a Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO). This CSO aims to modernize the Army's Organic Industrial Base (OIB) in areas such as Agile/flexible facilities, connected digital enterprise, advanced manufacturing, Digital Twin, automation, and cyber security. The Army recognizes the importance of investing in producibility and advanced manufacturing to support acquisition, sustainment, logistics, and overall modernization efforts.
