    Presolicitation HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES, DEPARTMENT OF is seeking maintenance service for a Vantera NMR Clinical Analyzer. The Vantera NMR Analyzer is used by the Department of Laboratory Medicine to perform lipoprotein particle quantification on samples from patients enrolled in NIH protocols. Laboratory Corporation of America is the sole vendor of the Vantera NMR Analyzer and is the only vendor that can provide maintenance, phone, and on-site service for this analyzer. This acquisition is being conducted under the authority of the FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(i) allowing the Contracting Officer (CO) to solicit from one source.
