HAMILTON CAMSHAFT ROLLER
Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Department of Homeland Security, specifically the U.S. Coast Guard, is seeking technical services to address load-sharing issues with the #1 Ship's Service Diesel Generator (SSDG) aboard the Coast Guard Cutter Hamilton. The contractor will be responsible for providing technical expertise to disassemble and inspect the main diesel engine (MDE), following the identification of a cracked fuel pump roller bearing, and must deliver a condition found report and trip report post-inspection. This procurement is critical for restoring the operational capacity of the vessel, ensuring its readiness for future missions. The work is scheduled to take place at Naval Station Mayport, Florida, from June 3 to June 5, 2025, with the final report due within three days after the contract period.
