Department of Veterans Affairs seeks Expressions of Interest for Medical Office/Clinic, Oakland, CA

The GSA Public Buildings Service, on behalf of the Veterans Health Administration (VHA), issued a presolicitation notice for expressions of interest to lease 13,263 ABOA square feet of medical office/clinic space in Oakland, CA. The delineated area is bounded by Ashby Ave./State Route 13 to the North, Interstate 880 to the South, Park Blvd to 14th Ave. to Interstate 880 to the East, and Interstate 880 to Interstate 580 to the West. The lease requires 60 reserved parking spaces, a 20-year full term with a 5-year firm term, and adherence to government standards for fire safety, accessibility, seismic, and sustainability. The offered space must not be in a 1-percent-annual floodplain. The government is considering alternative space due to an expiring lease and will evaluate economic advantages, including relocation costs.
