The Department of Defense, specifically the Department of the Air Force, is seeking to procure two iHAWK Rackmount Systems through a presolicitation notice. AFRL/RW, Munitions Division, Eglin AFB, FL intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis for the following items; iHAWK Rackmount System Qty: 2 each.  This requirment is sole sourced to Concurrent Real-time 800 NW 33 St. Pompano Beach, FL 33064 as the only manufacturer and supplier of iHAWK and RedHawk software and computer systems.  Any firms believing that they can provide the iHAWK and RedHawk software and computer systems may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office not later than 4 days after the date of publication of this notice.  The written response shall reference soliciation number FA865125Q0001 and clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy or reliability of the materials without causing programmatic hardship. All responsible sources must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at the following website: http://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM. Going forward, all new entities registering in GSA's System for Award Management (SAM), as well as existing registrations being updated or renewed, will require the submission of an original, signed notarized letter identifying the authoried Entity Administrator for the entity associated with the Unique Entity ID number before the registration will be activated. It is recommended that all interested parties be award that processign this additional information may take several days and are proactive in maintaining the SAM registrations in an 'Active' status as the government cannot award to an entity without an 'Active" SAM registration.
