The Department of Defense, through the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), is planning to award a contract for the development and support of the Osprey Drive System Safety and Health Information (ODSSHI) Kits for the V-22 aircraft. This procurement involves non-recurring engineering (NRE) for the installation of a monitoring system for the V-22 gearboxes, as well as the acquisition of kits and spares for the MV-22, CV-22, and CMV-22 aircraft for a duration of one year. The contract will be awarded on a sole source basis to Bell Boeing Joint Program Office, the sole developer and manufacturer of the V-22 aircraft, due to their unique access to necessary technical data and expertise. Interested parties may submit their capability statements to the primary contact, Kady M. Harris, at kady.m.harris.civ@us.navy.mil within fifteen days of this notice, although this is not a request for competitive proposals.
