Corps Island is located in Upper Mississippi River Pool 3 at River Mile 799.2 near Diamond Bluff, WI. The island is without road access, and has historically been used as a placement site for material dredged from the main channel of the Mississippi River.

Bidders are encouraged to pay close attention to Section 01 11 00, Part 1, Paragraph 1.1.1, Project Description, in the Project Specifications. The winning bidder is responsible for providing disposal capacity for the project, using a readily available commercial site (e.g. gravel/sand pit) and/or beneficial use sites.
