The Department of Defense, through the Naval Air Systems Command, is planning to solicit and negotiate multiple contract actions with Pratt & Whitney Military Engines for the F-35 Lightning II Lots 20-24 F135 Propulsion Systems. The procurement aims to fulfill requirements for a total of 109 to 82 propulsion systems across various F-35 variants, along with associated support equipment and sustainment services, including retrofitting and maintenance. This initiative is critical for maintaining the operational readiness and modernization of the F-35 fleet. Interested parties may submit capability statements for evaluation, with the anticipated contract award expected in the second quarter of calendar year 2026.
