FY26 NNSY Job Fair Rental Space

The Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) is seeking a venue for its Career Fair, scheduled for Saturday, January 24, 2026, with flexibility for alternative Saturday dates. The requested venue, located in Chesapeake or Portsmouth, must accommodate 700-1000 people from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM EST, with setup from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM and teardown from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. The space requires a minimum of 12,000 square feet. Key requirements include a dedicated interview area with privacy barriers, 10 interview booths, 60 general tables with 120 chairs, registration tables, water stations, and specific pipe and drape configurations. The venue must also provide a copier, printer, high-speed wireless internet for at least 40 laptops, surge protectors, and electrical access. The contractor is responsible for on-site personnel, including two armed security guards and two line management personnel, and must submit an Emergency Action Plan two weeks prior to the event. The quote should include parking for approximately 400 people and water service. A cancellation policy states the government is not responsible for fees incurred within 30 days of the event.
