The Department of Defense, through the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), is seeking to award a Firm Fixed Price modification to an existing Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract for the establishment of organic Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) depot maintenance and the evaluation and repair of damaged or failed APUs. This procurement is specifically aimed at providing technical support services, with the work anticipated to commence in late Fiscal Year 2025 and options for two additional years of support. The selected contractor, Raytheon Technologies Corporation (RTX), is deemed the only responsible source capable of fulfilling the requirements due to its unique technical expertise and data, which are critical for the Fleet Readiness Center (FRC) Cherry Point. Interested parties may submit capability statements within 30 days of the publication date, and inquiries regarding subcontracting opportunities should be directed to RTX's Paula Coffey at paula.coffey@prattwhitney.com.
