The Department of Defense, through the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), is conducting a sources sought notice to identify potential sources capable of providing Design Agent support services for the MK 15 Close-In Weapon System (CIWS) from Fiscal Year 2027 through FY 2031. This opportunity aims to gather information on industry interest and capabilities to support the maintenance, operation, upgrade, and sustainment of the CIWS, which serves as a critical defense mechanism against anti-ship missile threats for the United States Navy and Coast Guard.
