Presolicitation DEPT OF DEFENSE Alter/Repair Irish Hill B1624
The Department of Defense, specifically the Department of the Air Force, is seeking a contractor to alter and repair building 1624 at the Irish Hill Test Site located in Newport, New York. The service/item being procured is the alteration and repair of the building, which includes upgrading HVAC/power/comm/alarms, establishing new restrooms, break room, janitor closet, mechanical room, electrical room, and comm room, providing a new conference room, removing ceiling tiles, insulating the roof, installing new LED lighting, and installing laboratory furniture with comm cable tray and busway power, among other features.
The procurement is a total small business set-aside, with the applicable NAICS code being 236220. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Bidders must provide payment and performance bonding in the amount of their bid, and a bid guarantee of 20% of the bid amount is required.
