The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) is seeking insights through a Request for Information (RFI) for the design of a Public Financial Management (PFM) Activity in Sri Lanka. The initiative aims to enhance Sri Lanka's PFM capacity by focusing on key themes such as improving revenue generation, expenditure controls, participatory budgeting, e-government systems for fiscal transparency, and strengthening oversight mechanisms. This RFI serves as a developmental consultation to gather feedback from locally registered organizations on various aspects of economic governance, decentralization, and public service training reforms, with responses due by October 28, 2024, at 5:00 PM Sri Lankan Time. Interested parties should submit their comments and suggestions to Mr. Hirantha Heenatigala at srilankaprocurement@usaid.gov, ensuring to include the subject title “Request for Information (RFI): USAID/Sri Lanka Public Financial Management Activity.”
