Description

Sources Sought DEPT OF DEFENSE DEPT OF THE ARMY is seeking potential sources to supply an elastomeric hydraulic press. This press is used for elastomeric sheet metal forming and is required to meet specific specifications. The press should have a custom frame 4-post design, a light curtain safety interlock, metal rear and side doors/guarding, and a remote operated two-handed control. It should also have a 36"x60" forming area with a 24" daylight, and use a set of three rubber pads for assembly. Additionally, the press should have a telescoping lower platen shuttle for loading and unloading, an integrated jib boom with a 6' reach, and a spare parts kit.
