Sources Sought DEPT OF DEFENSE DEPT OF THE ARMY is seeking Avenger Weapons System Engineering Services in Huntsville, AL. This service is needed to provide engineering and technical support for the Avenger Weapon System and its derivative systems. The services will be performed for both United States and Foreign Military Sales customers. This notice is for market research purposes only and does not constitute a binding contract. The SHIELD Project Office is conducting market research to determine if there are potential sources with the capability to provide engineering and technical services in support of the Avenger Weapon System and all derivative systems, and are to be performed for both United States (US) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 15.201 (e), responses to this notice are not an offer and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. M-SHORAD Increment 4

Special Notice DEPT OF DEFENSE DEPT OF THE ARMY is conducting research to identify potential interested sources and solutions for the procurement of Maneuver-Short Range Air Defense (M-SHORAD) Increment 4. This capability is intended to provide air defense capability to protect dismounted maneuver forces in the near, mid, and far terms. The procurement aims to deliver solutions that support dismounted maneuver, joint forcible entry, and light mounted maneuver operations. The desired solution should be capable of defeating unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) groups 1-3 and rotary wing (RW) and fixed wing (FW) close support aircraft. The Army is seeking solutions that are C-130 transportable, air droppable, and sling load capable, and more robust than existing solutions. The procurement objective will depend on the capability and capacity of the materiel solution(s) and Total Army Analysis. The place of performance is Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, United States.
