The General Services Administration (GSA) is planning to award a Design-Build contract for the renovation of the Minton-Capehart Federal Building Garage located in Indianapolis, Indiana. The project entails comprehensive design and construction services, focusing on concrete repair and replacement, as well as the installation of new Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) to support charging vehicles, while adhering to the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards due to the garage's historical significance. The anticipated contract award is set for September 2025, with a project cost estimated between $20 million and $30 million, and interested suppliers of low embodied carbon materials are invited to submit expressions of interest by September 10, 2024.
