Performance Work Statement (PWS)-Marion VAMC-Ceramic Tile Flooring
General
The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment and transportation to provide annual EverGLAZE Maintenance of 9,096 square feet of ceramic tile flooring. These ceramic tile floors are in public, patient and staff restrooms, storage closets, lobby floors and entrances located in various buildings at the Marion VA Medical Center in Marion, IL.
Scope: Approximately 9008 square feet of tile flooring was restored in July 2013 using Site Prep Moderate and EnduraGLAZE Processes. Annual EverGLAZE maintenance has been performed on all floors each year since 2013. An additional 528 square feet of tile flooring was restored in February 2020 using Prep Moderate and EnduraGLAZE Processes. Due to additions and subtraction of square footage from renovations, that number sits at 9,096. Site Annual EverGLAZE Maintenance will consist of labor and materials needed to protect and preserve the tile flooring and bring it back to its restored appearance .

Building 43 1,804 square feet

The Contracting Officer s Representative (COR) will contact the Contractor to schedule the dates on which maintenance will be performed. The Contractor must perform work on 3 different shifts to prevent disruption to patient care and daily pedestrian traffic flow. Scheduling of these shifts will be provided by the COR to the Contractor no later than one week prior to commencement of the work.
Labor: Contractor will be responsible for providing all labor associated with the floor work including loading and unloading of supplies and equipment to and from vehicles, delivery of supplies and equipment to and from the work site and for maintaining all supplies and equipment in a neat and organized manner during work and without blocking ingress/egress doors, rooms, access panels, and emergency escape routes. The contractor shall provide all necessary barriers, barricades, and work area safety precaution signage within the work area and any materials storage areas.
Transportation: Contractor shall be responsible for any delivery(ies) of supplies, equipment, tools and labor to the various buildings located at the Marion VA Medical Center, 2401 West Main Street Marion, Illinois.
Contractor Access to Government facilities:
The VA will provide the vendor s authorized personnel access to the medical center facility spaces where work is to be performed. Contractor will coordinate facility access with the COR no less than twenty-four hours prior to commencement of work.
According to 6500.6, Contract Security Checklist, The Authorization requirements do not apply, and a Security Accreditation Package is not required.
