    Special Notice: DEPT OF DEFENSE Army Contracting Command – Red River Army Depot (ACC-RRAD) Organic Industrial Base (OIB) Modernization Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO)

    The U.S. Army is seeking to modernize its Organic Industrial Base (OIB) through the implementation of convergent manufacturing technologies. These technologies, including agile/flexible facilities, connected digital enterprise, advanced manufacturing, Digital Twin, automation, and cyber security, will enhance the Army's acquisition, sustainment, logistics, and overall modernization efforts. The Army aims to procure innovative commercial items, technologies, and services through a streamlined acquisition process authorized by DFARS Subpart 212-70. This Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) will result in FAR-based contracts awarded under Part 12 Commercial Item Procedures. Both traditional and non-traditional defense contractors may be awarded contracts under this CSO. The selection of proposals will be based on a review by scientific, technological, or other subject matter experts.
