This is a notification of an award of a sole source procurement under NAICS code 519290:  This industry comprises establishments primarily engaged in operating Web sites that use a search engine to generate and maintain extensive databases of Internet addresses and content in an easily searchable format (and known as Web search portals) or providing other information services not elsewhere classified. Establishments known as Web search portals often provide additional Internet services, such as email, connections to other Web sites, auctions, news, and other limited content.

Point of Care Web-Based Software System is an clinical decision support resource software system for clinicians to assist them in making the right point-of- care decisions to improve patient care and quality. This firm provides web-based point-of-care clinical reference and decision support software system, to provide a clinical reference and decision support software system for providers throughout the Phoenix Area Indian Health Service. This provides access to current and timely peer-reviewed summaries and extractions of clinical diagnostic, treatment and patient education information. This resource is used directly by clinical providers to deliver high quality, evidence based, current medical care for our patients.

Areas for service to be provided include the Ak-Chin Health Clinic, Camp Verde Clinic, Elko Service Unit, Hopi Health Care Center, Colorado River Service Unit (Inclusive of Parker Indian Health, Peach Springs Health Center, Chemehuevi Clinic, Supai Clinic, Moapa Clinic), Desert Visions Youth Wellness Center, Nevada Skies Youth Wellness Center, Phoenix Indian Medical Center, Uintah-Ouray Service Unit, Whiteriver Service Unit, Cibque Health Center,  Fort Yuma PHS Hospital, and the Phoenix Office Area.

In accordance with and under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), Only One responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. UptoDate Incorporated is the sole source provider for the Point of Care Web-Based Software System utilized for all (13) Phoenix Area Indian Health Service locations. The period of performance is 1 January 2026 through 30 June 2026.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract acquisition based upon responses to the notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for information provided in response. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate. Any organization responding to this notice should ensure that its response is complete and sufficiently detailed. Information provided will be used to assess tradeoffs and alternatives available for the potential requirement and may lead to the development of a solicitation.
