The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Huntington District is hosting an Industry Day to engage potential contractors for an upcoming Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) focused on dredging operations within the Great Lakes and Ohio River Division. Contractors interested in this five-year contract must possess specific floating plant equipment, including towboats with a minimum of 500 HP, derrickboats with a 120-ton lift capacity, floating excavators capable of dredging to a depth of 25 feet, and deck flat barges, along with demonstrating a dredging production rate of at least 150 cubic yards per hour. This initiative is crucial for maintaining waterways and supporting regional economic growth, and the Industry Day will provide an opportunity for contractors to learn about the contract scope, discuss technical requirements, and network with USACE representatives. The event is scheduled for January 21, 2026, at the McCracken County Public Library in Paducah, Kentucky, starting at 9:00 a.m. Interested vendors should complete a participant contact form and may direct questions to Eileen S. Hodges at 304-399-5632 or via email at eileen.s.hodges@usace.army.mil.
