The General Services Administration (GSA) is seeking to lease an office space in Homestead, Florida, for a period of up to 15 years, with a firm term of 10 years. The GSA has specific requirements for the office space, which must be located within a defined area south of Homestead to Islamorada.
The space must be between 5,929 square feet (ABOA) and offer a contiguous block of this size. It should ideally be situated on the first floor, with access to elevators if not. The GSA requires 20 structured/secured/reserved indoor parking spaces for government vehicles, along with a minimum of 12 surface parking spaces. Additionally, the site should have the ability to provide a "sally port" for detainee transportation and 24/7 access.
The successful offer will provide a fully serviced lease and comply with government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic activity, and sustainability. The GSA prefers the space to be at least 1,000 feet from certain locations designated as Drug Free Zones, although security assessments may be conducted for properties closer than 1,000 feet.
Offers must be submitted electronically by August 30, 2024, through the Requirement Specific Acquisition Platform (RSAP). Entities must register on the RSAP website to submit their bids. Further information and instructional guides can also be found on the RSAP homepage.
For clarity, GSA representatives—Chris Wainwright, the Lease Contracting Officer, and Nicholas Zabelin, the Broker Contractor—are available to answer any questions.
