The Department of Defense, through the Defense Health Agency (DHA), is seeking research and development services for a study titled "Mechanisms of RF Interaction with Biological Systems," to be conducted at the United States Air Force 59th Medical Wing in San Antonio, Texas. The objective of this research is to investigate the effects of directed energy injuries on military personnel by examining the interactions between radiofrequency overexposure and biological systems, utilizing miniature swine animal models to identify novel biomarkers and clinically translatable outcomes. This study is crucial for understanding and mitigating potential health risks associated with high-power microwave exposure. Interested parties are invited to submit a Capability Statement, limited to five pages, detailing their relevant experience and capabilities by December 22, 2025, at 12:00 PM Eastern Time, to Mr. Brandon Clingan and Mr. Jeremy McMurry via email.
