The Department of Defense seeks vendors to provide aerobics and cycling services at the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) in Castle Pines, Colorado. These fitness services, outlined in the Performance Work Statement, involve leading group exercises and instruction in aerobics and cycling classes.
The scope of work involves delivering certified fitness instruction, with a focus on safety and timeliness, for both aerobics and cycling sessions. Instructors are required to arrive early for preparation, ensure participants follow rules, and conduct equipment safety checks. The successful vendor will be responsible for managing instructor scheduling, adhering to the specified class types and times, and maintaining quality control.
To be eligible, applicants should be able to demonstrate experience and certifications in fitness instruction, with specific certifications as outlined in the Performance Work Statement. Vendors must also complete the representations and provisions detailed in the "Provisions and Clauses" document, which covers various FAR clauses, compliance requirements, and telecommunications provisions.
The contract is expected to run for a 12-month base period, with four 12-month options to extend and a further six-month extension possibility. The estimated value of the contract is yet to be determined. Quotes should be submitted as firm-fixed prices, with evaluations based on completeness, price, technical merit, and past performance.
