    Solicitation DEPT OF DEFENSE is seeking NATIONAL DEFENSE R&D SERVICES for SUBNET BAA 0004-21. The service/item being procured is focused on developing and promoting manufacturing improvements in the subsistence supply chain. This program aims to leverage the latest technologies, encourage innovation and modernization, and maximize capability and capacity in subsistence. It involves collaboration with DoD combat ration producers, commercial food suppliers, academia, and other industry and federal agencies to research, implement, and transition improved technologies in the subsistence supply chain. The goal is to achieve reduced cost, increased efficiencies, and improved surge demand capabilities, benefiting industrial base suppliers, military services, and warfighters.
