Presolicitation HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES, DEPARTMENT OF is planning to procure an Illumina NextSeq 2000 System. This system is typically used for analytical laboratory instrument manufacturing. The Department of Transfusion Medicine, Center for Cellular Engineering intends to upgrade from the existing Illumina NextSeq 550 to the Illumina NextSeq 2000 System. The system will be used for manufacturing cell and gene therapies for phase I and II clinical trials. The goal is to ensure potency assurance for cellular and gene therapy products. The Illumina NextSeq 2000 System is the only instrument compatible with the existing laboratory equipment and reagents. This acquisition will be conducted using simplified acquisition procedures and is exempt from competition requirements.
