The Department of Defense, through the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division, is seeking proposals for a five-year, Firm-Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract focused on the maintenance and replacement of batteries and microchips in firing devices MK 59 MOD 0 and MK 62 MOD 0, as well as the assembly of new production MK 59 units. This procurement is critical for ensuring the operational readiness and reliability of these devices, which play a vital role in military operations. The estimated contract ceiling is approximately $23.3 million, with a minimum quantity of 300 new production units and 500 refurbishment units expected.
