The Department of Defense, through the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Southeast, is hosting an Industry Day for the P200 Nuclear Power Training Facility Simulation Expansion at Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina. This Design-Bid-Build project aims to expand the existing nuclear power training capabilities by constructing a two-story Training Support Building, a multi-story High Bay simulator building, and a Mechanical Building, along with significant site improvements and utility upgrades. The project, valued between $250 million and $500 million, is critical for enhancing training infrastructure and will require contractors to comply with Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) handling protocols. Interested contractors must register for the Industry Day by November 6, 2025, and the solicitation is expected to be advertised in January 2026, with contract awards anticipated by September 2026.
