The Department of Defense, specifically the U.S. Army, is planning to modify an existing Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) contract with General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS) for the provision of technical support services for the Abrams Tank Fleet. This modification aims to extend the contract by an additional five years, allowing for the procurement of 5.2 million hours of engineering and logistic services necessary to maintain expertise and efficiency throughout the acquisition life cycle of the Abrams Tank. The services are critical for ensuring the operational readiness and longevity of military armored vehicles, underscoring their importance in defense operations. Interested parties are encouraged to submit capability statements, proposals, or quotations for consideration, with inquiries directed to Nicole Young at nicole.m.young39.civ@army.mil or by phone at 571-588-8997.
