The Department of Defense, specifically the Air Force Lifecycle Management Center (AFLCMC/C3N) at Hanscom Air Force Base, is conducting a Request for Information (RFI) for the procurement of L3Harris CMDL 2x radios as part of the Tactical Data Network Lab Tech Refresh project. The objective is to replace aging CMDL CDL transceivers with secure, rugged, low size, weight, and power (SWaP) radios that are software-programmable and suitable for both military and commercial platforms, featuring AES1 encryption and high-definition video encoding. Interested vendors are required to provide their business category and NAICS/SIC code, and responses to the RFI are due by October 24, 2025, with questions accepted until October 7, 2025.
