The Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) in Milwaukee, WI, has issued a Sources Sought Notice for vendors capable of providing, installing, and training for a NuTrace Laser (NUX20 NG) and ten NuTrace R+ Scanners, or equivalent systems, at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center. The required NuTrace Laser must feature a metal enclosed case with specific protective elements, NU-CAD Software, various controls, a laptop with accessories, and Class 4 Laser safety glasses. The NuTrace R+ Scanners must read instrument codes on any surface, provide audible/visual read alerts, and use a camera with LED light. The vendor is responsible for etching up to 40,000 instruments, providing Laser Institute of America (LIA) certified training, and offering comprehensive maintenance services including preventative maintenance, repairs, shipping, and loaner use. This notice is solely for market research, and all costs incurred by vendors in responding are their responsibility.
