The Department of Defense (DOD) is seeking proposals for the topic "Medical Echelon of Care Conceptual Models for Wargaming" as part of the SBIR 24.1 BAA. The objective is to develop and implement conceptual models for the medical echelon of care in wargaming, specifically focusing on the classes of casualties and echelons of care, time requirements between echelons of care, and the simulation of trauma services provided by shock trauma teams. The models will support the evaluation of medical support systems in future concept and capability development wargames. The project will be conducted in three phases: Phase I involves developing concepts and demonstrating feasibility, Phase II focuses on developing prototype conceptual models, and Phase III involves transitioning the technology for Marine Corps use. The developed models have potential applications in wargaming, analysis, training, and experimentation, as well as in emergency medicine and care after the emergency room. The solicitation is closed, and more information can be found on the DOD SBIR website.
