Universal Automated Control Assessment, Validation & Risk Correlation Platform for Hybrid DoW Environments
SBIR Opportunity Analysis
The Missile Defense Agency is seeking proposals under the Small Business Innovation Research program to develop a universal, automated cybersecurity assessment and risk correlation platform. The selected contractor will design and build an assessment orchestration solution that automatically ingests vulnerability scans and configuration checklists, mapping these technical findings directly to NIST SP 800-53 controls. This software must function identically across cloud-native, on-premise, and air-gapped tactical environments while supporting continuous Authorization to Operate workflows and Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification compliance. Phase I will focus on feasibility and architecture design, while Phase II requires developing a deployable Minimum Viable Product for end-to-end automated assessments. Proposals for this opportunity must be submitted through the Department of Defense SBIR portal between the opening date of July 22, 2026, and the closing deadline of August 19, 2026, at 4:00 PM Eastern Time.
