Adaptive AI-Driven Waveform Design
SBIR Opportunity Analysis
The Department of Defense, through the Army SBIR program, is seeking an AI/ML-controlled radar waveform generator to optimize radar performance and evade advanced jamming under solicitation number OSW26BZ04-DV009. Work is structured in phases, starting with a Phase I software proof-of-concept demonstrating deep reinforcement learning models for dynamic waveform adaptation, followed by a Phase II integrated hardware prototype optimized for edge-computing architectures. This project has dual-use potential for commercial automotive radar and civil air-traffic control, but is restricted under ITAR/EAR regulations and requires a CMMC Level 2 certification. Proposals for this opportunity must be submitted through the DoD SBIR/STTR portal by August 19, 2026.
