Humanoid Robotic Fleet Management
SBIR Opportunity Analysis
The Department of Defense, on behalf of the United States Air Force, is seeking proposals under the SBIR program to develop a humanoid robotic fleet management system for aircraft maintenance and sustainment depots. Under this Direct-to-Phase II initiative, the selected contractor must develop a functional prototype system that provides centralized monitoring, control, and autonomous task allocation across a physical fleet of humanoid, mobile, and non-mobile industrial robots. Eligible offerors must demonstrate existing experience deploying autonomous systems in manufacturing environments beyond material handling and deliver a system capable of reaching Technology Readiness Level 7 or 8. This procurement is restricted under ITAR and EAR export control regulations, and proposals must be submitted between June 24, 2026, and the closing deadline of July 22, 2026.
