Humanoid Robotic Fleet Management

The DAF26BZ03-DV020 initiative seeks to develop a sophisticated humanoid robotic fleet management system to address challenges in Air Force aircraft maintenance and sustainment. The objective is to efficiently coordinate multiple humanoid and industrial robots for complex tasks in dynamic industrial environments, optimizing resource utilization and minimizing aircraft downtime. This technology is restricted under ITAR/EAR, requiring disclosure of foreign national involvement. The project aims to overcome limitations of current robot management systems by providing a centralized platform for monitoring, control, and coordination, with autonomous task allocation and adaptability to changing operational environments. Phase I focuses on demonstrating a prototype system in a simulated environment, while Phase II involves developing a functional prototype for physical robot fleets and evaluating its performance in a real-world setting. Phase III will transition the system into a commercially viable product with dual-use applications in manufacturing, logistics, and inspection, integrating it with existing robotic platforms.
